In 2009, I finally made the leap and founded IBT with a small investment of just USD 1,500. There was no safety net, no investors, and no promise of success—just a clear vision and a relentless drive to build something extraordinary. Starting out was incredibly difficult. I was working around the clock, handling sales, service delivery, operations, and customer support all by myself.

I still remember those early days when I used to meet clients during the day and code or manage service tickets late into the night. Every contract won felt like a battle, and every setback taught me something new. But I was relentless. I knew that if I stayed focused on delivering real value, building trust with clients, and empowering the people who joined me, success would follow. Slowly but surely, the company began to grow. We started winning larger clients, hiring great talent, and delivering complex BPO solutions across different sectors.

What I’m most proud of during this journey is not just the growth in numbers—though I’m humbled that today IBT is worth over USD 0.5 Billion, operates in five countries, and employs over 800 professionals. What means more to me is the culture we built and the leadership values we upheld. From day one, I emphasized three non-negotiables in our leadership, performance, ownership and values. I encouraged my team to take full responsibility for outcomes, to measure their performance using clear KPIs, and to never compromise on integrity.

I have always believed that micromanagement kills innovation. That’s why I empower my people to think like owners—to challenge the status quo, take risks, and learn from their failures. Over time, this culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement became the backbone of our success.
